Precious Fentress, MSW, Supervisee in Social Work

Ms. Fentress is a master’s level graduate of The Ethelyn R Strong School of Social Work at Norfolk State University.  As a social worker, Ms. Fentress’s passion lies within social justice and advocacy; which is evident in her assiduous efforts to empower and foster positive change in individuals and communities.  She is adept at intervention for at risk populations, specifically suffering from intellectual disabilities, mental health disorders, substance abuse and the unhoused.  She has championed the intersection of the military world and the civilian world by providing support for service members and their families.  She is skilled in case management, within diverse settings, including government-affiliated entities, residences, private practices, and inpatient and outpatient dual treatment facilities.  She exemplifies strong values of empathy, commitment, resilience, and dedication, by embodying the client-centered approach.  Her ability to establish genuine connections, has made a lasting impact on the individuals under her care.  She partners with clients to achieve meaningful change, emotional balance, and navigate challenges to create a healthier fulfilling life.
